Nestled on the corner of Main Street & Cass in historic Crete is Pearson’s Piano Shop. Founded in 2004 by Registered Piano Technicians Steve & Pat Pearson (www.PTG.org), Pearson’s has been the area’s source for all things piano. Specializing in service and extraordinary value, Pearson’s is the region’s exclusive dealer for the incomparable Steingraeber piano of Bayreuth, Germany. Esteemed as one of the premier pianos of the world, Steingraeber pianos are simply the finest instruments money can buy; even the legendary Franz Liszt counted a Steingraeber among his most prized possessions. For families on a budget, Pearson’s is also the home of the affordable, remarkable Nordiska piano. Since opening in May of 2004, countless pianists, teachers & lovers of music have looked to Pearson’s to provide knowledgeable information, great piano value, and exceptional service.
At Pearson’s Piano Shop, every instrument is carefully prepped and kept in tune at all times in the store. “How can we expect you to buy an instrument based on tone and quality if it isn’t playing and sounding its best?” Steve emphasizes.
Whether you are seeking the finest piano money can buy, or looking for the most piano for a budget amount, Pearson’s is your source for honest, no gimmick pianos sales and service.
Contact Pearson's Piano Shop for a listing of our free recitals, or any of our sales events. Teachers are invited to hold student recitals at NO CHARGE by prior arrangement. Check out our You Tube links and MP3’s as well.
Pearson’s Piano Shop also is home to a rare 1789 square grand piano. Originally made by George Garcka, of London, it is under restoration. A gift from Chicago artist Jack Simmerling, this lovely instrument harks back to the early days of the piano. Upon completing the restoration Pearson’s plans to have a series of concerts on this historic piano.
